Kathmandu, April 26 : President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday administered oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed ambassador Mahendra Bahadur Pandey.

At a special function in the President House, President Bhandari administered oath of office to Pandey–Nepal’s ambassador to People’s Republic of China. Present on the occasion were Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, high-level officials from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pandey was the Foreign Affairs Minister in the government led by Sushil Koirala.
