16 covid-19 infected patients return home after complete recovery

Kathmandu, April 27 : Altogether 16 persons diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered and returned home after complete recovery so far.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Bikas Devkota, in a regular press conference at the Ministry today, shared that no new case of Corona Virus has been witnessed for the past two days in the country.

He added that 36 infected patients are undergoing treatment at the different hospitals across the country.

Spokesperson Devkota added that 10,471 people have been tested for Corona Virus via Polymerase Chain Reaction method while 43,063 were tested through Rapid Diagnostic Test to bring the total number of tests to 53,534 so far. He added that 2,148 are tested during the past 24 hours in the country.

Similarly, 741 suspected people have filled up self-examination forms in past 24 hours and of them eight are enlisted in red zone. The concerned authority has been alerted to examine the people who are in red zone.
